Hi all,

I trust you have had a great Easter 2015.

As you know, North Bali is a great location for SCUBA diving with some beautiful locations for all standards of divers.

We are seeking your feedback as we are gathering together information so we can provide an excellent package, whereby people can stay in our villa/s for five nights and also do their PADI Open Water diving qualification during their stay.

What a great holiday. enjoy some fantastic scenery and dive locations while qualifying for your SCUBA ticket. We are in discussions with a couple of dive operaters who can do the whole thing, including brief lectures in a classroom, followed by some excellent diving on sites such as Menjangan Island and the Tulamben shipwreck.

So, what do you think? Do you know any friends who want to get their SCUBA ticket, while also enjoying a fantastic luxury North Bali holiday. Please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested and let us know any thoughts or ideas.

Hi fellow Earthlings,

It's currently the quiet season up here in Bali, but the weather is beautiful, even if it is the Monsoon. All the Monsoon means is that is usually (not always) rains heavily for about an hour late in the afternoon. The rest of the time the weather is sunny and mellow.

Most villas, like ours, offer special discounted rental deals for the quiet season, so, if you've thought about a great holiday in Bali but need to watch the budget, booking a quiet season holiday, even during the Monsoon, is a good strategy.

Anyway, I remain fascinated with Bali's beautiful flowers - the colours are amazing. When I did a post a while ago, of Lotus, which is Indonesia's national flower, 430 people opened it. So here is some more beautiful flowers. I'm not sure of their names, but we found some of them while trekking through a volcanic jungle.

I 'm hoping to break the 430 openings record - so take a look :-)

It's always good to get positive feedback from guests about staying in our villas.

Here is the latest testimonal about our mountain retreat at Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali), from some guests from Belgium, which I thought I would share with you:

"Villa Sartori is a great place to stay. The views of the sea and the mountains are amazing. The villa is so beautiful furnished and decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our grandsons enjoyed to play games in the TV room and to swim in the pool. We enjoyed the peace, the nature , the luxury of the villa and the fine food. There is a lot to see and to do in the neighbourhood. For the children the Tree top park, the water park and the dolphin show were the highlights. We enjoyed the walk around lake Tamblingan, the paddling to the village , the lunch in the” Terasse du Lac” and the restaurants in Lovina . The childrens dance with Jimmy Hendricks in Lovina was also worth a visit. We felt really spoiled in every way."

As you can see, there are many interesting things to do in North Bali and it's well worth a visit.

GROUP BOOKINGS - THE OPEN SECRET FOR TOP HOLIDAY VALUE

Hi all and happy Australia Day to my fellow citizens,

One of travelling's open secrets is the amazing value you can get by group bookings of accommodation. If you've not considered booking, for example, a luxury Bali villa, many can sleep 6-8 people, sometimes more and they can big, spacious and private too.

"We enjoyed our stay at the Bali Bliss. It was remote, quiet, clean and luxurious. More than enough space to spread out if traveling with a large group. I loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The views are amazing. The ocean breezes were wonderful. Having the ocean so close you can get splashed by the waves standing in the yard made me feel like I didn't need to travel any further than my own backyard. If you are expecting to be close to restaurants and other tourist attractions, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking to relax and enjoy peace and quiet on Bali's north side, it is perfect!"

Hello everyone and isn't it amazing that we are almost halfway through the first month of 2015?

The peak 'dry' season for Bali is from August to November, but the wether during the 'west' is usually still pretty fantastic. It only rains about an hour each day but the rest of the time is great for holidaying. And, booking a holiday in the 'off' season means you are likely to get some great value airfares and accommodation. Hi Everyone and may you enjoy a wonderful Xmas 2014 and New Year 2015,

One of the many relatively unknown features of beautiful North Bali- where we have our two luxury villas - www.balidelux.com - for holiday rent - is the world-class SCUBA diving and snorkelling spots close by.

One of my Australia friends tells me they are 'better than the Barrier Reef' but not having been to the Reef, I wouldn't know, but it's pretty high praise. I've been snorkelling in North Bali and that is fantastic. Anyway, if you know anyone who likes SCUB and snorkelling, please feel free to forward them this post.

Hi everyone and the best of Xmas and New Year to all.

One of the many things that impress me about Indonesia and Bali, in particular, is the extraordinary beauty of the local vegetation and the amazing craftsmanship of the locals. The water lillies are immaculate and some of the woodwork and door paintings and carvings, are works of art.

Even just the varigated leaves of some of the Indonesian plants are a joy to behold.

Sometimes it's the small things in life that are worth noticing and celebrating.

Hello lovers of natural beauty and the environment.

People who never rise early enough to see the dawn often miss out on some spectacular beauty. This is certainly so at Bali Villa Sartori (North Bali). Here are a couple of photos showing amazing dawns that I watched from the villa balcony.

Dawn is a perpetual reminder of beginnings, of optimism, beauty and hope. And the colours are very difficult for even artists to replicate. Good advice to anyone is to stop to smell the flowers and rise to greet the dawn.

May the blossoms of good luck inhabit your world long before you leave it.
