I could not feel more grateful for this beautiful Christmas. 🎄

This was our first year hosting at our place and of course our first with Max, which meant much more shopping, wrapping, cooking and cleaning. But with the chaos and busyness, my heart is so, so full 🥰

I also want to mention that I know from firsthand experience that Christmas can be a hard time of year if your life or family doesn’t look exactly how you envisioned. But hopefully our journey can show there’s light at the end of the tunnel, even when it doesn’t feel like it 🫶

Went in for a nice relaxing sauna and ended up fighting for my life in the *frozen* Baltic Sea 💀

Honestly this was such a unique experience for a Cali girl who avoids the cold like the plague. 🥶

Loyly Helsinki is a public sauna (with a restaurant and bar because the Fins know what they’re doing) with an outdoor ramp and ladder that goes into the ocean. Definitely a can’t miss experience if you go to Finland!

The Tuomaan Markkinat in Helsinki, Finland!

Here’s why we loved it:
✨ Not crowded at all!
✨ It’s a much smaller marker than those in Germany or Switzerland so it’s super manageable and not overwhelming
✨ Felt super local and charming, not commercialized
✨ Had delicious drinks and snacks!
