If I'm being honest the most stressful part of a She Dares To Wander trip is the donations for our community projects. I always want to make sure every ounce of my luggage is used! I collect all year and am constantly rotating. Planning the actual trip comes easy to me. Yes it takes hundreds of hours but that's the fun part!
These donations are headed to Bali Baby Home, Bali Family Foundation, and Bali Animal Welfare Association ❤️ Spread love and kindness whenever possible!

I am so blessed to have a community that keeps me stocked on donations but the truth is it's overwhelming at times! I've got my wish lists for Bali Family Foundation and Bali Baby Home and now it's time to fill 8 suitcases for the trip. My favorite part of She Dares to Wander is being able to help others and seeing their faces when we hand everything out.

My favorite thing to do is shop for deals to bring the kids! I got so much stuff today it was insane. I filled my entire care for $300. Every trip we GIVE back to the communities we visit. Through my fundraising with my charity LOTUS Humanitarian I am able to do so much. I am constantly doing fundraisers! I would say it's my "real" full time jobs.

The next trip launch is almost here! I'm excited to take you back where it all began. The place I fell in love with 15 years ago and has become my second home. I even renewed my vows here. My Cambodian family is what keeps me coming back. What a gift it is to share the spirit of this country and its people. Everyone who comes with me leaves changed. It's impossible not to. This guy actually RELAXED today! The truth is yes I worked my ass off for 25 years to get to where I am today, but this guy right here is the reason why I was able to quit corporate life and go after my dreams. She Dares to Wander would never have been possible without the support from my amazing husband. He works so hard to make sure everything is covered while I start this dream of mine♡ 20 years and counting! He's pretty cute too🥰

Getting this update yesterday from Muhdiri's mom is what keeps me motivated to keep pushing. She Dares to Wander isn't about flashy hotels and Instagram spots. It's about meaningful travel where we make a difference. Knowing that this little boy received life saving surgery because our group raised the money to save his life is something I will always remember. The people we visit and support are what you leave remembering most. Yes, the safari was incredible but this giggle is what I will cherish.

Who else is with me here? Whatever happened to just hey want to hang out? No elaborate plans. No checking your calendars. Just what are you doing tomorrow. I feel like we get so wrapped up in making plans that by the time they actually come around we don't even want to go anymore.

If you’re local and you have tomorrow off come over and cool off!!! It's a million degrees out and miserable. The pool is finally open. Come have a drink and mingle. You don't have to go on a trip to be part of our community ❤️
