She Dares To Wander was born out of grief. I was so lost after mom died. Tuesday will be three years without her. She has been with me on every trip. I honor her memory living a life I know she dreamed up for me on the other side. This may be a travel business but it is so much more for me. It has connected me with others going through the same grief. It's allowed us to celebrate those passed and share our memories together. Bali was a special trip. I had my best friends who had been there for me through so much and helped me move through those first years of grief. I had women who had recently suffered losses and were navigating fresh stages of grief. We had moments where they were unmistakably with us♡ Mom is working her magic. First she sent me Paula and now Berkley. Paula has been by my side since I took my own soul journey after mom died. I got to meet Berkley in Africa and I know she was put in my life for a reason. It's hard to believe we just met in May. We decided this trip to have our moms together. I know they are smiling down at us. Travel brought us all together but that was just the beginning. To every woman on this trip that was there for me, thank you. Thank you for supporting my dreams, for helping me move through my grief and allowing me to find myself. Thank you for the new friendships and helping me honor my mother by helping others. We were able to do so much good on this trip♡
I am so lucky to have built a circle from these past two years of SDTW. Women who I never met who came to my first trip in Cambodia have become new friends. So many came back to a second trip and keep sharing with me. We have done so much good for others and truly love being able to help. I'm going to keep going and hope that I keep finding my people along the way♡

I just got home from Bali and I need to stock up for the next trip!!! Backpacks are marked down to only $3. School supplies are so much more expensive abroad and every organization I support has them on their wish list.
