Located in Karangasem area, East Bali. Tirta Gangga is a popular side trip from the nearby coastal resort towns of Amed and Candidasa. The lavish water gardens owned by the royal Karangasem family featured 1.2ha of pools, ponds and fountains surrounded by neatly cut lawns adorned with stepping stones, ornate statues and tropical gardens.

If you are from Kuta / Denpasar, it will take approximately 2.5 - 3 hours drive to this place.

Nusa Ceningan is a smaller island located between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida, which is easily reached via the yellow suspension bridge on foot or by bicycle/motorbike. There is a notable surf break off Nusa Ceningan which attracts some surfers away from the more crowded breaks on Nusa Lembongan.
The island offers some scenic roads and paths, and the westward views back over Nusa Lembongan to Bali are impressive. Viewing the sunset over Bali from the central Ceningan ridge is very much worth the effort. The estuarine channel between Lembongan and Ceningan is home to many seaweed farms and pristine mangrove forests.

How to get Padar Island from Bali?

Sape is two hours ride by bus from Bima Airport. From there, take another eight hours by ferry to Labuan Bajo. Or, you can also travel by chartered boat from the Sape harbor to Padar Island and stop at several fantastic diving spots along the journey. If you are traveling by plane, make sure to pack lightly.

Kecak Dance is a well-known captivating Balinese artistical performance. It usually performs at Uluwatu Temple at the cliff facing the ocean. Starting at the dusk, the story continues into the night, and the light only comes from the set of torches. Developed in the 1930s, Kecak Dance is a collaboration between Balinese Hindu dance and musical drama.

Unlike other Balinese traditional performances using gamelan, Kecak Dance is only accompanied with human voice chanting “chak” with polyrhythmic sound for almost entire performance. Around 50-60 men formed a circle and wore only black and white loincloth with their upper boddies are left bare-chested.

The story of Kecak Dance is a shorter version of Ramayana Saga where dancers are the representation of monkey troops, with other dancers are the representation of Rama, Laksmana, Sita, Rahwana, Hanoman, Sugriwa, and other characters.

Pura Mengening, one of the quieter temples of Tampak Siring, is a picturesque water temple ⛲🙏🏼 A cool breeze greets you as you go down the steps into the temple’s courtyard – you might just be the only visitor there. From the courtyard, you can gaze upon the greenery that surrounds the premises, taking in the natural beauty serenaded by the harmonious sounds of water running into different pools below.🍃 The regular visitors to Mengening are pilgrims who come for prayers in the temples and collect holy water from the temple’s holy springs, as well as the local villagers who bath in its crystal-clear pools. The two bathing pools below the courtyard, one for women and the other for men, may not be as big or as grand as the ones found at Tirta Empul, but what the two lack in size, they make up in genuine charm and tranquility 🍃🙏🏼
