🏡🌿 Mayo has been named the best county in Ireland to live in, according to a recent study that examined everything from crime rates and house prices to access to nature, supermarkets, schools and other key amenities. Mayo came out on top thanks to its strong balance of affordability, quality of life and access to services. (waterford-news.ie⁠)

🥈 Kerry claimed second place, while 🥉 Clare completed the top three, with both counties scoring highly for their natural beauty, community appeal and overall lifestyle offering. (waterford-news.ie⁠)

The research looked beyond just property prices, taking into account the everyday factors that matter most to residents – including safety, green spaces, local amenities and access to essential services. It’s great to see the west of Ireland so strongly represented at the top of the rankings. 🌊⛰️
