Discover Boyle formerly known as the Úna Bhán Tourism Centre opened in the grounds of King House, Boyle in 1995. From the centre, we co-ordinate promotion of the Discover Boyle region (North Roscommon, South Sligo & Leitrim) and provide a high level of service to guests during their stay. The Tourism Centre is home to an all year round visitor information point, Boyle Craft Shop and the Courtyard

Market which takes place every Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Staff also work on a wide range of projects to develop and promote tourism in Boyle and the surrounding area. Boyle town and it's surrounds are a hidden jewel and well worth a visit with attractions like Carrowkeel Megalithic Tombs which pre-date Stonehenge & Newgrange and the magnificent Tree-canopy walk in Lough Key Forest & Activity Park. Boyle is on a good rail network (main Dublin to Sligo route) and road link (N4) from the east coast, making it an ideal and accessible destination for visitors.

Úna Bhán Tourism Co-operative Society t/a Discover Boyle is funded by Pobal under the Community Services Programme.

🧶 Cruinniú na nÓg at Úna Bhán Tourism! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined our free crochet workshops today with the amazing Laura Kate Crochet!

Both classes were fantastic. Our younger group aced the basics to make adorable octopuses, and the teens leveled up their skills with trendy mushroom keyrings. The talent and creativity in Boyle today was incredible!

A massive thank you to Roscommon County Council and CreativeIrl for their support in making this creative day possible.

Keep on stitching, everyone! 🐙🍄

Wed June 10th at 2pm Cultural Companions – Ceol Binn Linn
Tickets: €5

A musical performance by Ceol Binn Linn, a group of nine musicians from Sligo. Playing Irish music in arrangements influenced by Sean O’Riada, Na Filí and The Chieftains. This includes music by O’Carolan, airs, waltz tunes, the odd jig, hornpipe or reel and recitations of poetry along with one or two songs. King House’s Cultural Companions Programme aims to enhance engagement with the arts among older audiences. Each event provides a unique opportunity for attendees to meet and mingle with fellow arts enthusiasts.

Sun June 14th at 2pm ‘From the Danube to the Dodder’: featuring Adrian Mantu (cello), Dermot Dunne (accordion) & Sebastian Tegzesiu (violin).

Tickets: €10 / €5

A vibrant and emotional musical journey that brings together the passion of tango, the elegance of classical music, and the freedom of contemporary expression. Cellist Adrian Mantu, accordionist Dermot Dunne, and violinist Sebastian Tegzesiu join forces in It Takes Three to Tango — a dynamic trio that transcends genres and borders. Their program celebrates the dialogue between tradition and innovation through works by George Enescu, Constantin Dimitrescu, Ciprian Porumbescu, Niccolò Paganini, Astor Piazzolla, Turlough O’Carolan, Ina Boyle, Saint-Saëns, and Ennio Morricone.

Each piece reveals a different facet of musical storytelling — from the fiery rhythms of tango to the lyrical intimacy of chamber music — offering audiences an evening filled with virtuosity, emotion, and unexpected connections.
