We like at least 3 days in Killarney. It's the easiest base for the southwest.

You've got the Ring of Kerry as one full day, the Di**le Peninsula as another (completely different even though it's right next door), and the Gap of Dunloe and the National Park right in town for the days you want to stay close (plus lots more options).

Kerry goes on most of our southern Ireland itineraries. There's wayyyyy more than what I've just listed in this post, with lots of ways we can customize the experience to your clients.

At some point “touristy” became an insult. I never got on board.

The big stuff is popular because it delivers. I’ll take a client’s breath away with the greatest hits all day and feel zero shame about it.

Do I love the quieter corners too? Absolutely. Some of my favorite spots across Ireland + UK have no gift shop and no queue.

But I’m not pretending the famous stuff isn’t famous for a reason.

Love what you love. The itinerary police aren’t coming to get you lol
