- Carnival. It’s not only Rio and Venice! Held in February and March, the carnival season in Spain is full of fun parades, city celebrations and costume parties.

- Feast of Saint George. April 23. Some call it a better version of St. Valentine's Day; traditionally men gave women roses and women gave men books, but in our times mutual book giving is also great!

- Primavera Sound Festival is one of the biggest European alternative rock and dance festivals that we highly recommend visiting. It takes place in May or June in the Parc del Forum in Barcelona.

- Another epic music event is the famous Sonar Festival in June. Known as one of the biggest experimental electronic music festivals, it is something definitely worth experiencing.

Seems like everyone fancies a good list of bars and pubs. To continue on that for all our 5 cities, here’s the list of our favourite bars in Berlin - don’t forget to save it!

🍹Primitiv bar - a cozy bar with live music that is, unusually for Berlin, not techno or house. You are welcome.

🍹Barbie Deinhoff's - a very pink, shabby-chic wonderland of Q***r art and frequent outrageous performances. This lively spot is popular with the LGBT & more bourgeois members of the local crossdresser community, and Tuesday is Happy Hour all night!

🍹Café Dachkammer - a chill cool bar at Boxhagener Kiez to have some drinks with friends.

🍹Astro-Bar - another cozy bar with a great beer selection and fun retro music.

🍹Süss War Gestern - great cocktails and live DJ sets of mixed music styles.

Some days are simply packed with awesomeness! You probably feel this way when travelling to a new place, trying new things or meeting friends you haven’t seen for a long time. One of our favourite ways to enjoy all these feels is travelling to festivals - meeting locals, dancing to great music, some drinks and endless fun! Here is a list of upcoming festivals in Germany for you to check out:

🍻Oktoberfest. Yes, it takes place in October in Bavaria. We couldn’t miss this one, - beer lovers’ paradise, traditional German food, costumes and dancing. Be sure to book this one way in advance!

🎬 Berlinale. It is happening now - parties, red carpet ceremonies, celebrities, photoshoots, everything glamorous and of course, movies! We recommend attending one of the movie premiers with fellow cinema lovers.

🎸 Rock am Ring in June in Nuremberg. It is a great way to let your hair down and hear some of the best rock bands play live.
⠀
🎧 Melt! festival - one of the biggest electronic music events on the planet, usually takes place at the Ferropolis open-air museum, near Gräfenhainichen (a couple of hours from Berlin) at the end of July.
