The whispering arch, a 15th century Gothic doorway to the cathedral at Clonmacnoise. If you whisper into the stone grooves on one side of the arch, the sound travels perfectly around the curve to someone listening on the other side. The monks used it to hear confessions. Was Tony sending a romantic whisper to Maureen 💕
