It’s business as usual at the lodge. Due to the remote location and general lack of people the lodge is a ideal location for a break away that’s low risk . The lodge is only one hour from Dublin so there’s no need for crowded airports also the lodge is totally isolated on a private farm (plus we have loads of toilet paper 😂)

What a lovely review from last summer after his stay. What a nice guy and what a lovely family too. Baz and his family were one of our first guests. Talk about a surprise when a booking comes in from Airbnb and it’s Baz !! He is as cool and sound in person as he on tv . It was also Baz who told me how to use use Instagram so blame him for the random stories of animals on the farm that some of you watch😂

Our newest family member is doing well he had a tough start loosing his mother but I had a mare loose her foal prematurely. So I’ve adopted father fluffy bum and fosters on to her. She’s taken to him . You can see these guys on the stories it’s not all plain sailing yet tho misty has her own complications but we’re on it . Anyhow how sweet is he !!

The first of the real spring mornings has arrived bright fresh and misty what more could you ask for . Look at those views of the prehistoric fortress of eagle hill home of the Presley’s (yes Elvis Presley’s ancestors came from Hacketstown) . Why not book the lodge and enjoy the views of the Wicklow mountains and your own private valley and lake !! @ Hacketstown

Well I taught hamlet to sit today if you didn’t catch it on stories. Pigs are one of the smartest domesticated animals in the world and are also very clean. There great crack too.
