BREAKING NEWS…NEW BUS SERVICE

Our new FREE bus service, the Lingaun Loop, is starting this Saturday, May 31.
It will operate five times a day, seven days a week, stopping off at vibrant villages and ancient sites around the Lingaun Valley.
Explore a sacred, unspoiled valley and experience 5,000 years of history on a 50km loop.
Hop off at any of 13 stops and rejoin the service later.
Locals and visitors alike can use existing bus routes from Kilkenny, Waterford, Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir to Link-to-the-Loop

Great news for Bigwood 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

📣 Great news for the community of Bigwood! 📣
➡️ The Department of Children, Disability and Equality under the Capital Grant Scheme for Play and Recreation has announced funding to support Kilkenny County Council’s provision of a playground in Bigwood 🌳
➡️ The Parks and Community Sections of Kilkenny County Council are currently working in partnership the local Bigwood community to deliver a new playground for the parish of Bigwood and environs.
➡️ It is hoped all works will be completed and the playground ready for opening in time for the summer school holidays ☀️
➡️ The funding secured under the Capital Grant Scheme for Play and Recreation will allow for the installation of new wheelchair accessible roundabout and associated soft surfacing. This play item will encourage social and family play time for all abilities.
➡️ It will directly benefit local families and create a more accessible, inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone 🪁 👧🏻👦🏻
