The 17th Gathering Trad Festival is scheduled for the INEC in Killarney from the 17th to the 21st February. This is regarded as being one of the best trad events in Ireland. An t-Oireachtas - Festival of Cultural events, music, song and dance returns to Kerry this year and will be based in the INEC, Gleneagle Hotel Killarney from Wed 28th Oct - Sunday 1st Nov. This is one of the countrys premier Irish Cultural festivals and is expected to attract up to 10,000 visitors to the area. Plenty of culture for visitors who want the full Irish experience.

The Kerry Film Festival 21st - 25th October is an internationally recognised short film festival which takes place across the county. The festival returns to Killorglin again this year with "Guess who's coming to dinner" being screened at Sol Y Sombra on Thursday 22nd October at 7pm. Tickets still available for a movie and meal.
