⚓ Killybegs, Co. Donegal — c.1890s

A tranquil view of Killybegs at the close of the 19th century, with its natural deep-water harbour nestled along the Donegal coastline. While the town's prominence as Ireland's largest fishing port emerged in later decades, this image captures the early character of a community poised between tradition and the tides of change.

Great to see you back in action Killybegs Seafood Shack

We’re back everyone, as of today. Opening in the same courtyard on Main St, Killybegs temporarily. Open 12:30-8pm Today Wednesday 16th until Easter Sunday 20th.

Apologies for the delay in opening. Lots & lots of trials and tribulations trying to get open this year. I’d need a year to explain them all. We are opening for now with the same wee menu, one minor change, the cod goujons have to come off our menu. Cod prices have just gotten too much for us.

So looking forward to seeing you all over the summer. This pic below is from when I first opened and no one knew what on earth I was doing in my wee trailer. I look older now..!😂😂 still no clue myself what I’m doing but sure we will keep trying anyways. Mairéad & squad.
