Another day another adventure with Shamrock Routes ☘️☘️☘️…

Our guests today toured both Dunfermline Abbey , Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile and finished off with The Royal Yacht Britannia…Charlotte and Mike from Pittsburgh 🇺🇸🇺🇸… loved every moment of today….

First visit today was Dunfermline Palace and Abbey…. The architecture on this 14 th century Palace is just amazing …They both enjoyed the architecture of both the Palace and Abbey….

Then back to the Royal Mile for some lunch and a visit to Edinburgh Castle… They both enjoyed the tour and its beauty and history …A few hours were spent exploring the city centre…

Last visit was the world 🌎 famous( Royal Yacht Britannia)… This amazing Yacht ⛴️ its beauty and history was just out of this world..They had a great tour on this most famous Royal Yacht…Then they decided to spend a relaxing evening in their beautiful hotel.. They will no doubt wine 🍷 and dine and chat about their exciting adventures today…

Today’s tour started in Edinburgh went to Dunfermline back to Edinburgh… Owner / Guide … Ambrose Mc Kay ….

Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️…Our guests from Pittsburgh 🇺🇸🇺🇸… had a small sleep in this morning… They are staying in the very famous Malmasion Hotel in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿…

A 20 minute drive and I had them over on The Royal Mile… The sun ☀️ shining, clear blue skies… The place was alive with tourists…They visited St Gilles Cathedral, listened to some live bag pipe music….

Rick and Charlotte went for a stroll visiting shops ,museums and buildings of interest… Why not the architectural capital…Original cobble streets and alleyways a city full of mystery…

After lunch a trip down to the Palace Of The Holyrood….The home of King Charles when visiting Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿…They really enjoyed the tour on the property ….

Next on our list today was Rosslyn Chapel… Built in the mid 1400s and took 40 years to build…It stands today as a testament to the engineers and trades men of yester years….The architecture is just words can’t describe its beauty… Both sat in the chapel for a history speech … It was a definite highlight today….
Back to the hotel for an evening of relaxation and reflection on today’s adventures for our guests..,

Yesterday our guests from Pittsburgh 🇺🇸🇺🇸….enjoyed more touring and sightseeing with our Driver / Guide in London 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Charlotte and Ricky have toured with us before in Ireland ☘️☘️☘️..As usual an early start was the order of the day….They visited Tower Bridge,Winston Churchill War Museum, London Tower and St Paul’s Cathedral…

They certainly made great memories over the last 3 days … The awesome history and amazing stories…

Yesterday evening they both said goodbye to London 🇬🇧🇬🇧and flew to Dublin 🇮🇪🇮🇪… Tonight we travel to Belfast and catch the ferry to Cairnryan and then a late check-in at our hotels in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿….

Another day another adventure on day 2 with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️….Our guests from Pittsburgh 🇺🇸🇺🇸…started early …. London 🇬🇧 .. had lots of history and culture to be uncovered today…

Our driver / Guide took these wonderful people to see some amazing cathedrals , churches and museums today…. As usual London touring builds a big appetite for wonderful food…. Very helpful staff to complement the experience.. The food was delicious as always..

After lunch they visited more historic monuments and museums…. They enjoyed the experience and the amazing English history…

By the evening everyone was ready to relax… A relaxing evening meal and a few drinks was the order of the evening….

Yesterday’s tour started from Heathrow in London, visiting historic museums and monuments… 3 days of London touring , then we head to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for 11 days touring….

Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️, today our guests from Atlanta Georgia 🇺🇸🇺🇸, traveled the North East coast of The Emerald Isle of Ireland 🇮🇪, to see its beauty and learn some culture…..

An early Sunday morning start up the M1for Belfast… The sun was shining, blue skies….Story telling and craic was good

First stop was Dark Hedges…Our 2 wonderful guests went for a wander up the road… photos were taken and they enjoyed the experience….

Next stop an old favourite, Ballintoy Harbour….Ohh what a beautiful place today…Sea was calm and the beauty of the rock jutting out of the water was impressive….

Next stop was a visit to Carrick A Rede Rope bridge….They both went out and crossed the bridge…Again they loved the whole experience …

Lunch time came and gone … We stopped at the Bushmills Inn for some wonderful food…. Everyone enjoyed that experience…:

We stopped at the Bushmills Distillery… The oldest working distillery in the 🌎 world… Dating back to the early 1600s…More photos were taken of the original whiskey Stil…..

Back on the road next stop was the world 🌎 famous The Giants Causeway.. This beautiful place was extra special today with our beautiful weather ….

Last but not least was a visit to the always impressive Dunluce Castle 🏰…. Such beautiful architecture… Amazing history and beauty….
