Another day another adventure with Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️.Today our wonderful guests from California 🇺🇸🇺🇸,traveled today with us to discover Irelands beauty, history and culture.
We had an early pickup for Denis , Ken and their wonderful partners from Powerscourt Hotel . We travelled M7 west bound.
First destination we visited was the 12th century Rock of Cashel. Perched on high rock this ,magnificent Irish landmark was the home of the Kings of Munster. Today’s weather was grey clouds and occasional downpours. Our guests enjoyed the visit. Ken was the acting photographer.
Back travelling south bound our next destination was Blarney Castle. One of Irelands most famous medieval castles. It was built nearly 600 years ago. Its grounds with beautiful lawns trees are a must see. All our guests enjoyed and while there kissed the Blarney Stone.
Our final visit of the day was Cobh , originally called Queenstown. This beautiful island town is home to the magnificent St Colmans cathedral. Overlooking Cobh harbour from a height. Cobh was also the last port which Titanic sailed from before striking an iceberg. They visited the Titanic Experience in Cobh also. Everybody really enjoyed their tour today, it was a long day and back to Powerscourt Hotel .Once again Shamrockroutes ☘️☘️☘️,doing what they do best, making memories to last a lifetime. 🇮🇪🇺🇸🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
