Come rain or shine that doesn’t stop Abbeyquarter/Gate Lodge walking group. Today even in the rain we had 22 participants out for our weekly walk. Following on from our walk, we headed back to The Gate Lodge Sligo for a well deserved cuppa and scone.

The Group meet every Tuesday at The Gate Lodge Sligo, Doorly Park F91 HW9Y for 10.45am.

Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome to join, so feel free to come alone or bring someone along!
This walk is wheelchair-friendly.

Today 30 participants from Abbeyquarter/Gate Lodge walking group, enjoyed a lovely walk in glorious sunshine, along Doorly park riverside. Following on from our walk, we headed back to The Gate Lodge Sligo for a well deserved cuppa and scone.

Calling all clubs: If your club is preparing to return in September, make sure your volunteers are up to date with their safeguarding training.

Safeguarding 1 is an essential course for anyone volunteering with children and young people in sport. It provides volunteers with the knowledge and awareness needed to help create a safe, positive and supportive environment for every child taking part.

Abbeyquarter/Gate Lodge walking group, today, this being our tenth week, 30 participants took part in our walk and afterwards we headed back to The Gate Lodge Sligo for the cuppa/scones and chats.
