This lovely high school group from the wonderful historic Polish city of Łódź had a fun, sight filled tour of Dublin. Sights included the 1780's Custom House, Famine Memorial, Ha'Penny Bridge, Dublin Castle and Trinity College.
They were an absolute pleasure to guide around the city.

For Dale Allison, Professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey, a visit to the Book of Kells Exhibition at TCD was an absolute must. Here he is pictured in the Long Room Library Exhibition Hall with his wife Kristine, along with Lauren and Andrew. Photo 24 March.

Kayla and Philip are two wonderful people, from Nashville Tennessee. Here enjoying a pint and great conversation in Dublins most under rated pub, Nealons on Capel Street. So while most of Dublin heaves and groans under the buzzing weight of a St Patricks Festival weekend. Nealons is always an oasis of calm.

JR Mahons on Burgh Quay was one of the watering holes visited by myself along with Alex and Stacy Hannah on our pub tour last Saturday. JR Mahons was in fact formerly JW Sweetmans Pub, where the only ever real rival to Guinness was brewed - Sweetmans Ale. Ultimately Sweetmans were bought out by the Guinnesses in the 1890's, and the pre-eminence of the celebrated dark beverage was secured. Photo taken 15 March.

One of my favourite pit-stops while en route during a tour of Dublin is Lundy Foot's in Temple Bar. Pictured here in the celebrated hostelry are my guests from last Friday - Colin, Kashmini, Malini, Caden and Brett Morgan from St Louis (Missouri) US. Photo taken 14 March.

The Ha'penny Bridge Inn at 42 Wellington Quay is the last of the great family-owned pubs in Dublin (owned by the Ryan family from Tipperary), and has always been a favourite of mine. Pictured here are Megan, Bailey, John and Harris from the State of Michigan on a brief stopover in the Fair City. Picture taken 6 March.

A very multinational group from Clearstream, based in Luxembourg but with people from all over Europe. This lovely group got to sample some of Temple Bar while it's still relatively quiet. It won't be on March 17th☘️☘️☘️.

One of Dublin's great watering holes - the 'Pub of the Men who Wield the Pen'. McDaid's in Harry Street (which at one time was the city morgue, we are reliably informed) was the haunt of some of the city's greatest writers up until the mid-1960's. Our friends from Luxembourg - the Clearstream Group - are seen here posing in front the famous hostelry on Tuesday 4 March.
