How Do You Measure Quantity Of Cavity Trays Needed?

At Lisnastrain Cavity Trays Ltd we can either take-off from scaled plans in both hard copy and/or digital format. We take the linear measurement in metres and divide it by the number of trays per metre:

Normally you will need:
4 trays/m 10 to 25 degrees
6 trays/m 27 to 49 degrees
9 trays/m 50+ degrees

Number of Trays:
Confirm the total number of trays required and other details like outer skin type and thickness, cavity width, and flashing requirements. Don’t forget starter trays such as catchment trays or end trays including the ridge tray.
