The last time there was a December All Ireland Final was in 1917 when Wexford defeated Clare to complete the third leg of a four-timer. A crowd of 6,000 turned up at the Jones Road venue to watch a game played in ideal conditions. However this time the All Ireland Football Final is being held behind closed doors.

We wish the best of luck to Dublin and Mayo today as they renew rivalries to claim this prestigious and famous cup.
