Via Ferrata, the Iron path - climbing and gliding cliffs and hanging on them using ropes and pegs in the rock. An enjoyable family experience above the Hula Valley at the top of Naftaly Mt. - not for weak hearts...

Those of you who traveled with us in the Negev Desert, surely remember Ovda - a national park, recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO, as part of the Nabataean Nomadic path. The residents of the old city were known for their rich vineyards and fine wine.
About five years ago, ancient vine seeds from the Byzantine period (around 320 AD) were discovered there. During an extraordinary and ground-breaking agronomic process, the ancient seeds were germinated and about two weeks ago, just before the Jewish Rosh Hashanah (New Year's Eve), a new/old research vineyard about 1500 years old was planted and launched in the city of Ovda with a big and happy celebration;
We are all in eager anticipation of how the grapes will look like and how this surprising wine will feel and taste.
Something to look forward to for years to come😍

About five years ago I traveled in South India and came back fascinated by the ancient temples and archaeological finds I encountered. When I returned, I shared this experience with Lior, our chief guide, and he answered me: "With all due respect lady, these are findings that are only 400-500 years old. Literally, babies. Here in Israel, we have Caesarea, Masada, and the City of David - stunningly well-preserved sites that are 3000-2000 years old!
Of course, I had to humbly admit the truth.
So whether you're a history fan or an archeology geek, you can't help but be impressed by the stunning find, on an international level, that was discovered about a week ago in the Judean Desert (not far from Masada National Park): 4 swords from the period of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans, about 1900 years ago.
If you want to hear more about their story just watch this next video (and don't miss the "WOW" calls of the diggers) .
A story of knights, rebels, and one big desert that kept magic in it for 2,000 years.... Truly amazing

A sensational find in the Judean Desert: a cache of four 1,900-year-old, excellently preserved Roman swords and a shafted weapon were discovered in a crevice...
