In 2004, our first initiative to promote Home Tourism in this Sherpa Hamlet was, Soreng Niwas which is now popular as WHITE HOUSE. A beautiful Hamlet hidden in the Sub Eastern Himalayan region, came across on our Trek Routes from Fari to Todey. The Village is inhabited by the Sherpas along with the Tamang, Rai and others. The home of Akhbar Rai named Soreng Niwas was established as the first Home

Stay in 2004. After that a constant encouragement by Sinchula Treks Travel of Alipurduar after our encouragement few more Homes agreed to welcome the Tourist. The Traditional dishes are offered to Guests with usual meals. Rango attracts for Leisure as well as for Trekking, Bird Watching, Star Gazing, Cultural Study.
