As we were ascending from the strenuous Seven Lakes trek, we were rejuvenated by the sighting of this shy and cute little Red Panda from the community forest. It made our trek unforgettable.
In the recent years, Red Pandas have been spotted more and more frequently in the community forest- the land of the Idu Mishmis which practices cultural conservation of its flora and fauna.
And we should never forget that the rules and regulations established by our ancestors were not for heavenly philosophy but to maintain our conduct with the nature.
