ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯ ಉತ್ಸವ–2026 : ಬಾದಾಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಗೋಷ್ಟಿ!

ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯ ಉತ್ಸವ–2026ರ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ, ಜಿ.ಪಂ. ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಜ.17 ಮತ್ತು 20ರಂದು ಬಾದಾಮಿ ನಗರದ ಎಸ್.ವಿ.ಪಿ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಸವಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಗೋಷ್ಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಜ.17ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಶಾಸಕರು ಶ್ರೀ ಭೀಮಸೇನ ಚಿಮ್ಮನಕಟ್ಟಿ ರವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸುವರು.ಅಂದು ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯರ ಮಹಾನಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಧರ್ಮ ಸಮನ್ವಯತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ.

ಜ.20ರಂದು ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯರ ಆಡಳಿತ, ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತಜ್ಞರಿಂದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ.

Banashankari Temple, Badami

Banashankari Temple, located at Cholachagudda, about 5 km from Badami in Bagalkot district, is a renowned shrine dedicated to Goddess Banashankari. The temple was built in the 7th century AD by the Badami Chalukyas, who worshipped the Goddess as their family deity (Kuladevi).

The temple exhibiting Dravidian and Vijayanagara architectural influences and the sacred Haridra Teertha located in front of it are the two major attractions of this holy place. The annual Banashankari Jatre and Rath Yatra, held during January–February, are celebrated with great grandeur.

ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ, ಬಾದಾಮಿ

ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಾದಾಮಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 5 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ದೂರದ ಚೋಳಚಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವು ದೇವಿ ಬನಶಂಕರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ. 7ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಚಾಲುಕ್ಯರು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದು, ದೇವಿಯನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಲದೇವತೆಯಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹರಿದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥವು ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಜನವರಿ–ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಥೋತ್ಸವ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
