Amar Chitra Katha was created fifty years ago with the vision to educate children in an engaging and entertaining manner. The aim of Amar Chitra Katha stories is to impart a thorough knowledge of Indian history and other Indian stories through comics.
As part of the golden jubilee celebrations, a Quiz Competition sponsored by Amar Chitra Katha and organized by Edumedia (LXL Ideas) was held on 15 February, 2017 for students from grade 6 to 8.
The inter class quiz competition aimed at assessing and enhancing the children’s knowledge on Indian history, mythology, current affairs, etc.
In the final round of the competition which was held in the synergy block, Meghana Srinidhi Sehasai, Yashaswini C.N. and Y.S.K.Sivani of Grade 8 were declared as winners at school level.
They would be representing the school in the next round. The quiz was an exciting and engaging medium to inspire the students to learn more about our amazing country, its stories and heroes!
