PROBLEM STATEMEMT
The teams are expected to design and construct a manually (wired / remote) controlled robot capable of driving the opponent’s robot into the dumping area either by pushing, dragging, lifting and throwing, or making robot immobile by any means within the specified time.

BOT SPECIFICATION
Weight limit: 8kg (off-bot supply)
10kg (on-bot supply
Maximum allowable dimension: 35cmx35cmx35cm
Voltage supply: 25v (Max)

ARENA DESCRIPTION
• Gate width is horizontal plane of 45cm width. It leads to a door which is to be pushed in order enter the krukshetra (main arena).
• Main arena will be of 2.5m x 2.5m.
• Dumping zone will be a quarter circle at each corner of the arena (4 no.) which is of 38cm of radius.
• Centre of the arena will have a sudarsan chakra (any part of the bot can have a contact with it) which will be of 30cm diameter with spikes at the outer surface.
• Krukshetra will comprise of Agneebaan which will be fired whenever the Bot enters the proximity of those fire zones.


GENERAL RULES
• Each team can consist of a maximum of 4 members.
• Robot dimensions have to be within the given specifications.
• No chemicals are allowed.
• Implementation of any sucking devices or glue which shall stick the robot on opponent’s robot or the floor of the arena will result in disqualification.
• Cutting of power supply or wires will not be tolerated and prohibited.
• Robot should not have zero ground clearance i.e. any part of robot except the wheels should not touch the ground.
• Any damage to the arena due to the robot especially for not having the ground clearance will lead to the disqualification of the team.
• AC Supply 220V/50 Hz will be supplied, participants have to bring their own battery eliminator.
• Maximum voltage for powering the robot is 25V DC. This will be tested before the commencement of the event.

• No breaks are allowed once the rounds start. If the robot is unable to perform due to some technical fault, it will be considered eliminated.
• Any robot remaining inactive willingly or unwillingly for more than 30 sec will be disqualified.
• Every match will be continued for 3 min and if both the robots remained on the arena after the fixed time then the elimination will be done by considering their attacking game to which points will be given
• No penalty for harming the opponent’s robot through any mechanisms except those mentioned earlier.
• Decisions of the jury will be final and binding.
• Rules can be changed by organizers at any moment of time during the game if required.
• Hammers, Pneumatics and lifters are allowed to destroy the opponents robot and extra points will be awarded for that.Cutters, hydraulics, fire or any liquid or chemical weapon are strictly prohibited


GAME RULES
• Both the team will start from their respective START ZONE red or blue.
• The robots need to clear the gate area for entering the arena for war, if any robot fails to clear the gate area it will be disqualified.
• After a given time the sliders will be opened and the robot can push their opponents into the dumping zone and before that the can harm is other by pushing or any other skills.
• Attacking is the only game so for each attack 10 points will be given.
• Elimination will done be done if the robot will fall into the dumping zone.
• Every match will be of 3min and incase of draw, the further action will be taken as per the points collected by each team and organizer’s instruction as mentioned above.

Rules and regulation:

• At the most 4 members will be allowed per team.
• Depending on the time constraints, each team will be given some stipulated time to test their vehicle on the track before the actual round
• Each vehicle starts from the starting line, on the signal given by the event organizers. The timer for 3 minutes will begin as soon as this signal is given.
• Your vehicle should always remain inside the track. If your vehicle leaves the track, at any point of time, it gets penalized.
• If your vehicle remains stationary for more than 30 seconds at any point during the race, it will be disqualified.
• You must not damage the track at any time
• Use of magnetic material s prohibited. But, electromagnets can be used.
• The Coordinators hold the discretion to restart a race, in case of a valid reason to do so.
• You will not be permitted to touch your vehicle at any point during the race. Negative points will be awarded if are required to do so.
• You are not allowed to make any changes to your vehicle once the event commences.
• There is penalty for leaving the track. Negative points will be awarded in case of penalty. However there is no time penalty.
• The race is of single lap.
• Use of spiked wheels or release of grease or any other materials that would damage the track is dealt with serious consequences leading to disqualification of the team based on judge’s discretion.
• The organizing team is not responsible for any kind of damage to your vehicle during the race.
• If none of the teams completes the race in the stipulated time then the race is called off and both teams will be evaluated for their performance based on the points earned in the match.
• The team with maximum number of points will be the winner of the match and qualify for the next round.
• The organizing team’s decision will be final and binding.
• AC power supply will be made available to each of the two competing teams during the match.
Judging Criteria:

• 20 points will be awarded for completion of each zone up to zone 5.
• 5 points will be deducted as penalty if the robot gets out of track for more than 1 time in each zone. However for the first time a zone restart will be offered without penalty.
• 20 points will be awarded as bonus to the team completing the five zones without any restart.
• Additional 10 points will be awarded for wireless robot.
• Touching the robot or pulling the robot’s wire will lead to negative points (minus 5 each).
• Damaging Arena, Opponent robot or remaining stationary for more than 30 seconds at one place might lead to disqualification of the respective team.

NOTE:

• Rules for the next level will be same as above.
• The arena dimensions will also be same except the materials used to make the arena may vary.
• The organizers reserve the right to change any of the rules as they see fit.
• Violation of any of the rules will lead to disqualification.
• Rules may be changed at the competition viewing the situation.
• Decision of the coordinators shall be treated as final and binding on all.
