1 day,10 stops in New York! Save this NYC walking tour🗽🇺🇸

If you have 1 free day once you’re done with Times Square, Central Park, and Museum of Modern Art, this walk will take you through some of my favourite places in New York City . SoHo → West Village → Downtown Manhattan → Brooklyn Bridge → DUMBO → Williamsburg.

1 - New York or Nowhere, SoHo
Start your NYC walking tour in SoHo at New York or Nowhere.A minimalist NYC storefront & the perfect starting point

2 - Crosby & Greene Streets
Cobblestones, fire escapes & classic SoHo lofts. This is the cinematic New York you’ve seen in Friends.

3 - Mercer Street + La Cabra ☕️
Walk along Mercer Street for textured brickwork & that unmistakable SoHo aesthetic. Grab a specialty coffee from La Cabra before continuing downtown.

4 - Washington Square Park
Walk towards Washington Square Park & stop beneath its iconic Arch, one of NYC’s most recognisable landmarks

5 - Walk Through the West Village
Welcome to Carrie Bradshaw’s neighbourhood 👠 Perry, Charles, Grove & Bedford Streets for beautiful brownstones & the kind of streets you’ve seen in countless films & TV shows

6- Downtown Manhattan → Brooklyn
Head towards the Brooklyn Bridge. You can walk through Lower Manhattan or hop on the subway to City Hall / Brooklyn Bridge if your legs need a break.

7 - Los Tacos No. 1 🌮
Time for lunch! Take a quick detour through Wall Street to stop at Los Tacos No. 1 in the Financial District for some of the best tacos in NYC before continuing towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

8 - Walk Across the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO
One of the most iconic things to do in New York City & completely free. Take your time, look back at Manhattan & enjoy one of the world’s most famous skyline walks.

9 - Brooklyn Bridge Park + DUMBO
Explore Brooklyn Bridge Park for sweeping Manhattan skyline views. Then wander through DUMBO & head to Washington Street for that iconic Manhattan Bridge photo.

10 - East River Ferry → Williamsburg ⛴️
If you’re not tired, end your New York City day trip with an affordable ferry ride.Walk from DUMBO towards Pier 11 & take the East River Ferry to Williamsburg for a scenic ride across the river for less than $5

Ready to build what’s next ✨✈️ Here’s a little peek into what we’ve been doing behind-the-scenes this year more than ever!

Recently we joined a closed-door chat with global PR leaders from Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts as consultants - to discuss how hospitality brands can craft storytelling that’s culturally relevant, insight-led, and built for what’s next

And the conclusion is unanimous - Indian audience is no longer just consuming global narratives-they’re actively shaping them. They want relevance, not replication. Indian travellers are no longer an afterthought for global brands; they’re driving conversations around wellness, immersion, and food. And ultimately, that kind of sustained narrative builds far more brand equity than any single viral post ever could 🌍✈️

As entrepreneurs whose passion will always be showcasing the nuances of the world and our love for travel, we’re grateful to be at table like these where ideas matter more than algorithms. It’s so exciting to witness these changes in the travel industry and meet people who’re actively thinking about the future instead of chasing current trends.

Planning a once-in-lifetime safari in Serengeti? Start with these 10 unforgettable experiences 🤌🦁

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, is one of the most extraordinary safari destinations in Africa and according to us, it’s truly worth all the viral reels & the hype. It’s also the perfect honeymoon destination! If you’re planning a Tanzania safari, these are the experiences we’d recommend adding to your itinerary

Save this for your future Serengeti safari 🐘🐆

• Go on an early morning game drive when wildlife is at its most active 🐆
• Experience a sunrise in a hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti:it’s one of those bucket-list travel moments you’ll never forget 🌄
• Time your visit to witness the Great Migration if your travel dates allow but even at a other times of the year, you will spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and countless other animals.
• Stop for a sundowner in the middle of the Savannah 🌅
• Don’t rush your trip- we would suggest spending at least 3 nights in the Serengeti to experience different landscapes and wildlife sightings 🦒
• Make sure your hotel provides binoculars or pack binoculars. Some of the best sightings happen far beyond the reach of your camera lens
• Pair Serengeti National Park with Ngorongoro Crater for one of the most rewarding Tanzania safari itineraries 🌋
•Pair Serengeti National Park with Zanzibar for a beach getaway with the bluest waters 🌴

The Serengeti is one of those places that honestly exceeds every expectation. No two game drives are ever the same, and that’s exactly what keeps you wanting to go back. There is q detailed itinerary and packing guide on the Bruised Passports App 📲

Have you been on an African safari? Is it on your bucket list? 💙✈️🌍✨

One of America’s cutest historic towns 🤏🚗🇺🇸

Everyone talks about Washington DC or Baltimore when planning a trip to Maryland. But some of the state’s most magical places and day trips lie beyond the obvious.

Frederick, Maryland is one of the prettiest historic towns in the USA we’ve visited - expect beautifully preserved architecture, brick-lined streets, local cafés, boutiques, public art, and centuries of history. If you’re looking for gems in the USA or unique day trips from Washington DC, Frederick honestly deserves a spot at the top of your list - especially if you’re going during autumn months 🍁🎃

We spent the day wandering through its charming downtown, discovering historic buildings around every corner - THIS is why you always take the scenic route 🇺🇸🚗

What’s the favourite lil place you’ve discovered unexpectedly on your travels? 🌍✈️
