Matheran Pratisthan was founded in 2010 to develop tourism at Matheran Hill Station and to create new parameters of environment protection that can fetch global importance to Matheran on the world Map. Matheran Pratisthan started conducting Matheran Mahotsav every year for cultural, social and business development of the Hill station. In 2015, Matheran Mahotsav crossed all odds and reborn as Mathe

ran Green Festival which became India's first Global Green Festival and one of most important events of the country.

Anand has been able to calm down many traumatised elephants and save their lives. He runs Trunk Call - The Wildlife Foundation which works dedicatedly for the conservation of elephants (captive, wild & other wildlife) and their habitats across various regions by employing methods in research, education and training.
