Inme is founded by a group of people with diverse backgrounds ranging from outdoor and adventure, behavioural sciences, the armed forces to theatre and arts, education and entrepreneurship. Our core team members are alumnus of XLRI, INSEAD, IIMs and the armed forces. We use our interest, background and our behavioural science expertise to design learning experiences using adventure and challenge.
Two of our co-founders Tarun Chandna and Gaurav Saklani are pioneers of organized, large scale, learning based adventure programs for 9-18 year old children in India. They founded iDiscoveri Education and its Youreka program in 1995. The Inme team has worked with over 25,000 children across the country. We have an impeccable safety record and the confidence of parents and schools. Our work with schools includes graded curriculum based programs, adventure based life skills workshops and teacher empowerment programs. Schools that know our work include The Doon School, Inventure Academy, Vasant Valley School, Sanskriti School, Assam Valley School, Hill Spring International School, VDJS Hissar, Sharda Mandir – Goa, Hope Town School, Lawrence School Sanawar and DPS Kuwait. We are also the preferred adventure partners for the IAYP (formerly the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme). Our parent company – Exper Executive Education – is a leading provider of teambuilding, leadership development and personal effectiveness programs for CEOs and top teams of Fortune 500 and leading Indian companies. inme programs are outdoor adventure and challenge based experiences for 9-18 year olds that are conducted in the wilderness. Our programs are an engaging mix of fun and learning and are designed and led by outdoor experts and behavioural science practitioners. Our programs are more than just a series of outdoor activities or a camping holiday. The programs use the power of the experiential method where participants pick up life skills, gain confidence, become independent, learn to work with others, and have opportunities to dig deeper into their potential. We offer programs ranging from ones designed for the first time camper and going up to those for the challenge seeker. Care is taken to build in appropriate challenge, adequate safety, and meaningful learning objectives. Our on campus programs are typically 8-day experiences on one of our 5 campuses across the country. Children stay in tented accommodation on camp and participate in activities, challenges, learning and informal fun sessions around the campus. Our expedition-based programs have a higher challenge level – participants move camp on most days and set up their own campsites and manage group chores. These programs offer a variety of options including high altitude treks, cycling expeditions, snow skiing, white water kayaking and scuba diving.
