TREK AND RIDE EXPEDITIONS (TARES) - a small organization Inbound Travel mostly working as a B2B ground handler. TARES is a Destination Management Company Since 2013 for 6 sister NE states of India based in Guwahati, Assam & Aalo West Siang Arunachal Pradesh.. Our team consists of core members who have worked as es**rt Naturalist/guides in this region for many years as freelancers to gain in-depth

knowledge of the region and later started this company as an entrepreneurial project to give our guests the utmost priority by firstly understanding the requirement and then design the travel program. Our sole philosophy is bringing the NORTHEASTERN (INDIAN) PEOPLE AND THE DIVERSE UNSUNG CULTURE TALES TO THE WORLD. Being small, it allows us to personally understand our guests and design the itinerary with minute details. TARES is a DMC – BY THE NORTHEAST CITIZEN, OF THE NORTHEAST CITIZEN & FOR THE WORLD CITIZEN. We believe in associating with local eco-tourism societies where they work for the local society’s upliftment. So our 1-2% of the every tour package income goes to two type of NGO –
1. Ngunu Ziro, from Ziro Arunachal Pradesh creating awareness amongst children and adults to keep Ziro Clean and Green
2. NESFAS, from Shillong Meghalaya creating an opportunity for local people to educate and earn from agrobiodiversity. Sometimes we might not be the cheapest option of the particular tour package, as we do not want to compromise the image of our region. We believe that the service and experience we give to our guest, is everlasting and that will help us to grow a personal relationship where our guest will not hesitate to refer our region to their friends and families. These are of-course special interest tour packages “but then” we also had regular Bucket list travel packages of regular sightseeing tours with various cost (Budget to Luxury) according to the guest requirement. Our sole managed region is the 6 sister northeast Arunachal Pradesh | Assam | Meghalaya | Nagaland | Manipur and Mizoram (We are not yet operational at TRIPURA)
