This week, we had the pleasure of arranging cycles for our guests from the UK and Australia to ride from Basar to Daporijo — one of the most stunning and untouched routes in Arunachal Pradesh.

As they pedaled through deep forests, hanging bridges, quiet villages, and river valleys, they experienced the Northeast the way it’s meant to be — raw, real, and beautifully human.

🪂 Day 2 – Paragliding, Laughs & Lake Hopping
Rise and shine! Grab breakfast and head to the Gunjung Paragliding Site — because nothing says “good morning” like jumping off a hill with style. 😎
Your pilot will do the flying — you just scream, smile, and pretend it’s all part of the plan.
For 10-15 minutes, you’ll glide over Dima Hasao’s ridges thinking, “Maybe I was meant to be a bird after all.” 🦅
Touch down (hopefully on your feet 😂), grab lunch, and show off those “I believe I can fly” selfies.
By late afternoon, hit the road to Umrangso. The ride’s scenic, the playlist’s ready, and your stomach might start questioning your life choices on those curves. 🎶🛞
End the day by the lake, watching the sunset, laughing about who screamed loudest in the morning. 🔥🌅

🚗 Day 1: Guwahati → Maibang → Gunjung

Buckle up! It’s a 7–8 hour joyride through Assam’s changing moods — from plains to pine-scented hills.
Grab breakfast at Nagaon or Lanka (fuel for both you and the car 🥞☕).
After Lumding, the road starts flirting with the mountains — twisty turns, forest air, and tiny villages waving hello.

Quick pit stop at Maibang, the ancient Dimasa capital (because a bit of history never hurts your Instagram story 😉).
Then onward to Gunjung, rolling in by late afternoon.

Check in, sip some tea, stretch that tired back, and maybe convince it that adventure is worth it! 😄

As the sun dips, stroll through the village or just watch the hills blush in sunset light.
Wrap the day with a campfire dinner, local music, and stories under a sky crowded with stars. Chk in tomorrow for Day 2
