Being more than 25 years old, the club is enriched with the delightful experience of its’ members enjoying photography. Rup-O-Rekha, a photolovers’ association was born in September’1986. It was the outcome of eight
photo-enthusiasts of Shibpur, Howrah – who were looking out for a place to gather. Their objective
was to discuss their photographs and to indulge on other photographic activities. The
y succeeded
and laid the foundation of this club. From then until now it has been a continuous saga of success and upliftment in this arena. This
includes hundreds of acceptances and winning of certificates and medals in National as well as
International salons awarded to the members of our association. We are proud to have organized two members’ and three National salons till date. One photo-quiz
contest was also organized for raising photographic awareness and interest amongst the children of
Shibpur, Howrah area. Regular activities of the club include Member’s photo shows, photographic
outings and excursions and many others. Workshops on various subjects related to photography
have also been organized. Through this website we cordially convey best of our wishes to all photo enthusiasts of India and
