Meeseva project initially started with a few services, but gradually new services were added and today a total of 322 services are available through meeseva. Independent department projects were integrated onto a single platform to provide multiple services at a single point. The Center or Kiosks are spread across the state even in the remotest locations, bringing government services to its citizens. A basic center has a desktop, printer and scanner. The center or kiosk is run by individuals. A citizen wishing to avail a service can walk into the center or kiosk and fill the required application, submit required documents to the operator. The operator fills the online application, and supporting documents are scanned and attached with the application. The application is submitted online and receipt with reference number is generated. The application status can be checked online or at the center. Approved applications are printed on Meeseva Certificates and given to the citizen. All certificates are digitally signed, making it easy to deliver a large number of services. The intention of bringing government services to its citizens, through centers is efficient, cost effective, transparent and fast. Citizens need not visit government offices again and again to avail a service. Citizen need not travel long distance, can avoid long queues as more centers are spread across the state and services can be availed from any were in the state.
