Iftaar Feast- A Chef Pin Experience par excellence. There’s something sublime about our culture. So vast, so enduring, so accepting and inclusive. It is only when you meet and experience diverse traditions that you learn to pick the best of all worlds.
A star lit night, fairy lights, an ornate chandelier, nawabi attire, adaabs and adaa, the serenity of breaking a fast, the faith of prayer, sharing of dates and duas, that first sip of water and that first lesson in sabr and shukr.
This one had four of our superlative home chefs and Sana Khan. The aroma of fresh sizzling kebabs and keema samosas tantalised all to the ornate buffet. So Gul’s special Raan was competing with Dania’s Talle Aloo Gosht ka Salan. If Mansi Kapoor’s kachori and dahi bade got polished in minutes, Sana’s Maash ki dal and Hari Mirch Keema were the best I have ever tasted. The competition was tough and the ladies delivered and outdid each other! Nihari and Mutton stew savoured with Shirmal and Naan, Rocky Sir’s soecial Biryani and Vidhu’s smashing dessert.
A legend such as Dr. speaking so eloquently on the tradition of Ramzaan and the significance of Iftaar!
Of course all this brought together beautifully by the vision of Sir and . It was great having wonderful event partners such as .india and Nayab. The pecans were perfect for the exotic desserts while Nayab customised beverages such as ‘Mohabbat ka Sharbat’ and Imli Sharbat.
Last but not the least our wonderful guests who bring in so much energy and charm into these gatherings.
