Bikaner Camel Festival 2016 started on 09 Jan and will end on 10 Jan.

Camel, ‘the ship of the desert’, has been an integral part in the life of the people of Rajasthan, since time unknown. To honor this wonderful creature, Rajasthan celebrates the Camel Festival every year at Bikaner. The festival is celebrated to show the role and importance of camels in Rajasthan. This colorful cultural event is organized by the Department of Tourism of the Rajasthan Government, every year in the month of January.

The festival starts with the procession of beautifully decorated camels passing before the Junagarh Fort in Bikaner while heading towards the open sand grounds. And here the colorful camel pageant starts. On the first day of the event, a contest for the best decoration and jewellery, the best fur cutting design on camels and the best breed of camel is organized. Camel races, camel dancing performances are held on the second day of the event. The amazing foot movements and dancing performances of camels here cast a magical spell on the spectators. Cultural performances of folk dances and music add to the pageantry of the Camel Festival. The festival ends with a magnificent display of fireworks, which illuminates the desert city of Bikaner. The colorful camel festival provides you the best opportunity to see the camels at their best. Thousands of tourist from all around the world visit Bikaner every year to enjoy this colorful cultural extravaganza.

Sea World's latest attraction "Hear the dinosaurs roar"!!!

Sea World’s newest attraction takes visitors back 65 million years to the age of dinosaurs. The amusement park’s first animatronics attraction features an indoor jungle display, a full-size skeleton and real dinosaur fossils.

Outside gets wilder with 14 life-size dinosaurs that move and roar including favorites like the Triceratops, a Velociraptor and the fearsome, 18-metre long Tyrannosaurus Rex. Kids can get involved in a dig at the Excavation Site or use interactive panels to control some of the dinosaurs’ movements.
