A guided day tour with expert Story Telling was conducted at Thoonikkadavu Green Hills, the beautiful property of our member Rathnakaran.
We were delighted to host about 45 corporate guests from Taj Bekal.
The tour was expertly guided by our Secretary Mohankumar, along with Treasurer Rajeevan and the host, Rathnakaran. A true marvel of experiential tourism that ART -M is passionately promoting for Malabar especially for North Malabar! An exclusive show casing of ART-M activities which the guests were appreciating a lot ! Congrats to Ratnakaran and all in his family who meticulously planned everything with perfection 🌹

ART-M at Malabar Tourism Meet (MTM), Calicut

ART-M proudly participated in the Malabar Tourism Meet (MTM) held at Tiyara Hotel, Calicut, an important platform that brought together tourism stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and cultural ambassadors of Malabar.

A dedicated pavilion was set up exclusively for ART-M, where our team showcased the unique concepts of experiential and responsible tourism, deeply rooted in the rich cultural and natural heritage of Malabar. The pavilion attracted wide attention from visitors, tour operators, and officials, offering them insights into our initiatives—especially our efforts to connect travelers with the authentic life, traditions, and landscapes of our region.

Our presence at MTM marks yet another step forward in positioning ART-M as a collective voice of experiential tourism entrepreneurs, working hand-in-hand to promote Malabar as a sustainable and vibrant destination.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers of MTM for providing this platform and to all well-wishers who visited and supported ART-M at the event. Together, we continue our journey to celebrate and share the soul of Malabar with the world.

Ambujakshan Master - An inspiration for micro tourism operators of Kasaragod & Kannur Districts :

A ferocious reader, a talented speaker , a renowned teacher , a leader in library movement and a story teller , Sri Ambujakshan Master after retiring from service moved around to encourage people of all walks of life.
But his decision to convert the upstairs of his own house at Pakom into a home stay charted a unique track not only for himself but to many in the region who were passionate to do some thing in tourism industry. Many of the successful micro tourism units of Kasaragod owe a lot to this teacher par entrepreneur who with his practical experiences showed how to be successful by running a home stay or farm stay with minimum investment.
He was a great motivator for the new comers and genourously provided tips to become success ful. ‘Bekal Fort Home Stay ‘ at Pakkam which he owned was one of the most sought after Homestays in whole Malabar. His son Anoop .A.was our(ART-M, Association of Responsible and Experiential Tourism entrepreneures of Malabar) Founder Secretary 🌹🌹
