Day 2: Slow Mornings & Last Memories in Sonajhuri
Good morning everyoneâŚ
It was our last day in the serene lanes of Sonajhuri Forest, and we woke up early with an ambitious plan to explore more. But the rising temperature had its own plansâit slowed us down a little.
Hunger took over, so we stepped out for breakfast at Roshnai. A simple plate of hot luchi and aloor dum turned out to be the perfect start to our dayâcomforting and delicious. We returned to our Airbnb, freshened up, and then I took some time for a personal shoot (photos coming soon on my page đ). The calm surroundings made it the perfect backdrop.
Later, we headed out again, planning to have lunch at Ram Shyam Restaurant, but by the time we reached (around 4:30 PM), lunch service was already over. A little unexpectedâbut thatâs part of travel, right?
So, we moved on to Kasahara inside the beautiful Visva Bharati University campus. The food was good, and the peaceful environment made the experience even better.
After lunch, we spent about an hour strolling through the campusâsoaking in the calm, the greenery, and the artistic vibe that Santiniketan is known for.We returned to our stay, had a light meal, and called it an early night since our train was scheduled at 7:40 AM from Prantik Railway Station the next day.
This short trip gave us exactly what we neededâpeace, simplicity, and a break from routine.
Stay tuned for more on our next journeyâŚ
