Crossindia Cruises started in 2013 and was incorporated on May 2014. The company evolved with a mission to specifically promote water based tourism activities like boat rides, events on board, both corporate and private, celebration on boat and vessels. Currently, Crossindia is operating on the Ganges, or Hooghly River, Kolkata and in close association with the tourism department to promote chartering, creating tourism and events on house boats.
Crossindia Cruises started in 2013 with the first adventure boat tour in West Bengal that was called the Pirates Party. This tour involved sailing near the Bay of Bengal sea and camping on a sandbank and exploring the other less visited areas of the Sunderban forest.
