: With a career spanning over twelve years, DJ Harish has been a prominent part of the Kolkata Club Scene for quite sometime now. Over nine years as the Resident DJ at the Dublin, the Night Club at the ITC Sonar and also managing music at Afraa Lounge, Maaya and Splash at Swissotel, Saturday Club and Calcutta Swimming Club, Harish has many feathers in his cap. He has also been the lead singer for many prominent bands and has also shared stage with the likes of Sunita Rao, Remo Fernandez and Shakar Mahadevan. He started freelancing as a DJ in 2001.
What followed was a storm of outstanding performances which made Harish a favourite at all private parties. In a very short period of time, he had became surprisingly popular with the party people and left them wanting for more. With his background as a singer and his vast knowledge of music to back him up, Harish’s repertoire spans everything from Retro, House, Hip Hop, R&B. Bollywood to the best of cutting edge remixes. His extensive clientele include: Channel [V], MTV, NIFT, ITC, and all leading Liquor brands in the country. Besides performing across the country, Harish has also performed at International venues in Dhaka namely Dhaka,Bangkok ,Pattaya, HuaHin, Phuket (Thailand). Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore. Harish has his own institute of Djing in Association with Pioneer Pro Dj. He has been playing for all KKR IPL post-parties since its inception and was given the honour of playing music at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. He also has two international releases on Beatport from European labels of tracks named DUSK and Himalaya.
