The name of this group on the trekker’s circuit finds its origin from its members who formed it.

I myself OMKAR JUVEKAR, KAUSTUBH PADWAL, VIRAJ TAVSALKAR and SUYOG LOHAR completed our graduation from Department Of Biotechnology, Ramnarain Ruia College in 2010. ‘HYBRID’ being a typical term used in Biotechnology (meaning fusion of 2 different species) became the name of our trekkers group. But with respect to trekking the term establishes identity of our group. HYBRID stands for
Heights

– that’s our aim which keeps on increasing with every trek. Youth -- that’s how our group is, full of energy and enthusiasm. Bindaas -- that speaks for our attitude towards life and trekking. Refresh -- that’s how you feel after every trek. Intensity -- Both the qualities which every member of the group possesses Determination while trekking

The passion and hunger for trekking and travelling was imbibed in us during our first trek to Rajgad-Torna, back in 2008. From then onwards, we have continued with our traditional monsoon trek every year. However after graduation, we all thought of going one step ahead and giving ourselves an identity on the trekker’s circuit. This gave birth to HYBRID trekkers. Even with little experience in our hand, we successfully organised our first trek to Naneghat on 15th August 2010. I am sure our co trekkers and freshers were fully satisfied with our performance. In the next 7 years, HYBRID TREKKERS has definitely made its own mark in this niche space. . We have gone beyond trekking to organise wildlife safaris, outdoor tours, camping adventures, industrial visits and much more. We are immensely thankful to more than 900 fans who have liked us on our page
In coming years, we intend to organize many more such ventures and explore the unexplored territories.
