The Minister of Immigration Michael Wood house has just announced a number of measures aiming to make it easier for Chinese visitors to come to New Zealand.

eVisas (label-less visas and passport-free applications) are now available for Chinese nationals applying online - onshore and offshore. eVisas means that the recipients need not have a physical visa label in their passport; instead their visa is held electronically. Customers will be receiving an electronic visa approval notification with their visa details, including visa start/end dates and conditions.

A change in the VAC service fee in India: New Zealand

From the 1st of May 2016, the local currency VAC service fee in India will be increased to INR 950. This increase in fees is only applicable to applicants who are in India and submitting a physical application to a VAC in India.However, the VAC fee associated with handling passports linked to applications made through Immigration Online is not changing.

Thousands of Indian workers face deportation under new UK Immigration Law

Thousands of Indians in the UK may get hit by a new law from next month under

which they could be deported if their annual salary is below 35,000 pounds.The

transformation will influence professionals living and working in Britain on a

Tier-2 visa who earn less than 35,000 pounds a year at the end of five years of

their stay in the country. "The UK government distorted the settlement rules in

2012 to break the link between coming to work in the UK and staying here

permanently. We were fair that the new guideline would implement to migrants

who entered Tier-2 from April 6, 2011. Those individuals were alert when they

entered that new settlement rules would apply to them," a Home Office statement

said.

Quebec to accept 10,000 Canada visa applications from June 2016:
The Immigration, Assortment and Formation Minister (MIDI) for Quebec Kathleen Weil have disclosed the reestablishment of its online skilled worker program (QSWP), origination 13 June 2016. The basic quota of 5,000skilled worker visa applications will be acknowledged as an element of an overall quota of 10,000 on this date: the second batch of 5,000 visas will be issued later.
The following advice regarding Quebec skilled worker visa applications has been liberated by the MIDI:
June 13th – 20th, 2016: Initial Reception stage- Applicants who have organized an online user account will be capable to submit their application for a Quebec Certificate of Selection (CSQ) and pay the fees which are mandatory. A maximum of 5,000 applications will be accepted during this era on a first come first served basis.
June 20th 2016 – March 31st, 2017: Second Reception stage to be settled by MIDI - Applicants who have organized an online user account will be capable to submit their application for a CSQ and pay the fees which are mandatory. A maximum of 5,000 applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis, during this second phase.
