According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India, if you take a domestic flight, then you can carry a maximum of Rs 2 lakh in cash.

But if you are going on a foreign trip, then this rule does not apply. How much cash is allowed for foreign travel? If you are going to travel to any other country except Nepal and Bhutan, then you can carry foreign currency up to $ 3000.
