Happy Tiger Adventure Film Festival:

The Happy Tiger Adventure Film Festival will be the first annual Adventure Film Festival to be held in India that will showcase adventure short films. This covers an entire gamut of activities ranging from travel and ecology, right through adventure, and all the way to extreme sport. It’s an opportunity for Indian adventurists and filmmakers, both professional

and amateur, to mingle with like-minded explorers as well as adrenalin junkies. HTAFF will provide the exposure to what’s happening in the international arena by bringing the ‘international’ right into India. The festival will include awards, a showcase of renowned international films, an adventure filmmaking workshop and many exciting prizes. The festival will showcase, through the short films, various locales in India, and expose the sheer breadth and depth of adventure activities that happen in India. HTAFF is a tribute to the spirit of adventure in each and every one of us, no matter what role it wishes to play or which route it chooses to traverse. So you could choose to follow honey collectors or whale sharks, 4x4 jeep through the jungle or trek, paraglide or BASE jump, climb a snow peak or a huge tree, raft the rapids or swim the seas. The competition section will be limited to short films to allow everyone to participate. All films will have to be under 45mins with a minimum duration of 3minutes. Travel and Eco films (Open)

"A collapsed cave, the Great Blue Hole is over 400 feet deep and 1,000 feet across. Giant stalactite formations can be seen at around 135 feet. Caribbean reef sharks are commonly seen cruising the blue at about 70-90 feet. This video was made with footage from two dives, the deepest being to 151 feet."

“Even though we are often consciously aware of our current emotional state, such as anger or happiness, the mechanisms giving rise to these subjective sensations have remained unresolved. Here we used a topographical self-report tool to reveal that different emotional states are associated with topographically distinct and culturally universal bodily sensations; these sensations could underlie our conscious emotional experiences.”
