This year it was special with some new faces joining the clan. It was made all the more special by Deep who rode all the way from Bangalore just to be with the group.

Another addition was the newly printed NHT tshirts.

Happy Birthday fellow biker Sushil !!

How days have passed and now we have together ridden from lands end, where the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea meets, to the crown of India, The Himalayas.

From the rain soaked ride in the southern part of India to the sweat soaked ride on our way to the north of India and finally shivering snow drenched Khardung la conquer.

The planner, the most enthusiastic person that I know and a great story teller. This when combined with Old Monk, you won't realise when the monk sold his farari and stopped by him to listen and admire his rideiyapa.

From the Palolem all night fun, the haunted house of Coorg to the Longest sleep at the tent at Pangong, All these memories are etched in our minds.

From the first birthday bumps from the NHT family, near the windmills, on the way to Shirdi on you first birthday ride with us, we have come a long way and we have miles and miles to go.

Over these many years we have ridden together a lot and have created many stories. In future many more will surely come. May it be a new place or old one, we will always make new stories.

The dilemma!

Brother! lets do Ladakh trip atlease this year. If not now… then never.

Sure Susu! This will be our last chance. Get a new bike Neetu!

Dekhta hoon Rohu… but kaunsi bike loon. I can’t find anything better than my ZMR, in my budget, which I can ride up to Leh from Mumbai.

Plan was getting chalked up for Ladakh and with every new bike coming into the market the pressure to buy a new bike for me started increasing.

Susu and Rohu applied their mandatory leaves that they get from their office. I had to somehow manage 15 days leave, buy a new bike, buy new biking gears as I had gone XL from L during the no actual riding days of well… 3 years.

Na leave (Approved one), Na gaadi, Na paisa…

Saalo itne saalo mein yahi time mila tha seriously Leh plan karne ka?

Mumbai to Leh and return, on two wheels. During the rains. Plan kuch aisa hi tha.

I was riding just a few kms of ghar se office and return (16 kms) each day. Riding such a long distance was not my cup of tea and that too when the adrenalin rush that was given by the rides used to come only once in a year during the last 3 years.

R3 mast lag raha hai… Neetu le le.

Mojo le… sahi bike hai!

abe Himalayan dekha kya, check the reviews and le le.

kuch nahi to KTM Duke hi le le… khoop power aahe.

Suggestions kept pouring from everyone. NHT was like as if all of them had a commission decided to them for encouraging me into buying a bike.

I was like… sala iske baad to ride karni hai nahi. Nayi bike? karunga kya uske baad uska?

Another thing was whether I can rely on my old bike as the terrain was challenging and tough.
