2018 OPPORTUNITY: IFYE has been a huge part of my life since I had the opportunity to participate as an outbound in 2016, living in Estonia and India for three months each while my family hosted someone on our farm in the US.

Not only has it granted me an opportunity to live life with amazing people around the globe, it has opened so many doors to future adventures with my ever-growing IFYE family. IFYE has definitely been a critical in my life and it could be one for you, too!

Heavenly Gift: Yes--they ARE eating DQ Malts in church-- at a funeral in Hooper, Nebraska. This is the Sweetest story! Myron Brand was buried last Friday. His entire life, the Fremont man loved ice cream by the cereal bowl. The pastor at the funeral, Myron's son-in-law called the Fremont Dairy Queen and asked how much it would be for 125 malts. The DQ said.."Are these for Myron Brand?" :) Then, they delivered the malts--free of charge. It seems everyone knew about his sweet tooth. Myron--may you have ENDLESS ice cream in Heaven. Your friends enjoyed a sweet remembrance here on Earth. Thanks to Nancy Brand Schroeder for this photo and story.

The Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahib, is the holiest gurdwana in Sikhism. Completed in 1604, the is a place of worship for people from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. This is also home to the world's largest langar (kitchen) that feeds more than 100,000 people everyday around the clock.
