Road-tripping with my two favorite allies .. Doesn’t take much to have the best experiences in life. Our road trip started with ancient ruins and old towns and now we are on Khao Yai National park camping amidst nature is all forms . If you love camping I highly recommend Lam Ta Khong campground . It’s scenic, safe, and so relaxing!

Every morning I wake up to a new and spectacular sunrise in this city.. off late, I find myself trying to identify and remember certain buildings and places I’ve loved visiting.. the parks , usual fav cafes , familiar skyscrapers that we look for every time we drive into the city after a trip and try to spot our home among the tall glass towers.

Sing me a song of a lass that is gone...
These standing stones may not be on a fairy hill in or at ... But hey! Can't help it if I got excited to see standing stones in Thailand. 😄 Husband indulged me and took many corny photos at these gorgeous and majestic monoliths at Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens.. 😊
I found the pebbled designs on some of them quite beautiful.

I remember how he would sit on the kitchen platform when I cut pieces of musk melon fruit and he would demand some to eat too. I've never seen another cat that ate fruits like him! And he grumbled while eating too 😂 nyom nyom nom nom..

We have been stitching soft toys at home.. It's been such fun teaching me daughter to stitch and embroider little things. Anyway, there was much celebration in our home today because she managed to complete her plushy. I decided that today's journal memory should be a little sketch of this, to remind me of the fun we had together creating something. 🦜🐦 Now she's busy working on stitching an Owl. 🦉
I love how we are using this lockdown to inspire some kind of creativity in ourselves on a daily basis, thanks to this journal time we set aside with each other. It feels .

My Octopus Teacher 🐙 is such a beautiful and thought provoking story..if you haven't seen it yet, please do. So many emotions, such wonder, such beauty.. I was left with a tear in my eye at the end and I just couldn't let it go. So I spent some time sketching this journal page to remind me of that beautiful world below the surface. And something he said really stayed with me.. "We are a part of this place, not visitors."
(Same goes for the Earth, don't you think? All the more reason to conserve it.)
I find it tough to keep up the commitment of a doodle a day.. But I'm really trying again this year. Wish me luck! 🤞😊
