Fostering 101 in Kothrud has turned 4! 🎉 It’s been an incredible journey of creating a safe, cage-free, and loving home for pets while their humans are away.

And now, we’re growing—our new home in Kondhwa is officially here!

The Journey So Far In the last 4 years:

Met 50+ amazing pet parents
Fostered 70+ cats
Retained 30+ families who’ve trusted us again and again

Fostering 101 started from my love for animals and the lessons they’ve taught me over 18 years, caring for 36 cats at home. Losing my belove ginger boy, Leo, while I was traveling made me realize the need for a space where pets feel truly at home, even when their families are away.

With my mom’s constant support, we created Fostering 101—a cage-free, home-based space where every pet gets undivided care and love.

Hey! So my name is Shreya and I am an animal lover and a budding Psychologist. I've had more than 35 cats till now. Sadly, I lost my last furbaby in 2016, while being on a vacation.

That is when I understood the importance of safe and caring fostering homes!
And hence, from 2020 I, decided to start my own!

My aim is to provide a loving, caring, and cozy fostering home for cats while their parents/owners enjoy having fun on their vacation stress-free!
