Rishikesh is a paradise for bird-watchers. It is surrounded by forest, river, water falls below that makes Rishikesh a perfect place for Bird watching. Eastern side the Neelkanth mountain is a great place for bird watching.
Rishikesh is popular for Temples, Yoga, River Rafting, Camping and other adventure activities around it. Besides this it is covered with green forest area. Its Eastern part other side of River comes under Rajaji National Park which is the home of more than 400 birds, northern and north-west part is part of Narendra Nagar Forest Division also a passage for birds.
