Tortola is turning into a foodie paradise this October! 🌴🍽️

From October 20–24, 2026, BVI Restaurant Week will bring five days of special menus, exclusive dishes and dining deals to restaurants across Tortola. 🇻🇬✨

Expect a delicious mix of Caribbean seafood, island classics and international flavors, with dishes ranging from conch ceviche and saltfish fritters to local snapper, oxtail, lobster dumplings, mahi-mahi, seafood bento and Mexican tacos. 🌊🌮

And yes… dessert is part of the plan. 🍰 From key lime pie and banana bread pudding to churros, crème brûlée and brownie with vanilla gelato, there’s plenty to finish on a sweet note.

With 12 participating restaurants, from waterfront favorites to hidden gems, it’s the perfect excuse to explore Tortola one plate at a time. 🍴🏝️

Italy’s Frecciarossa is officially getting ready to go international. 🇮🇹🚄

Test runs have now begun on railway lines in both Austria and Germany as Trenitalia works through the certification process for new connections between Italy and Munich. The planned routes would connect Milan and Rome to Munich, passing through Austria and stopping in cities including Innsbruck.

The first commercial services are planned for summer 2027, pending the remaining approvals — with even more Italy–Germany connections expected to follow.
