Today Morning visit kufri sightseen:-

Kufri (Altitude 2622m) known for its ski runs kufri. 16kms away from shimla, attracts the largest number of tourists who come to shimla it has a backdrop of peaks covered with snow.

Green vally:- Green Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Shimla. Noted for its elite beauty, this is a stopover on the way to Kufri from Shimla. The place is ideal for photographing as it offers some of the most mesmerizing sights that nature has to offer. The criss-crossed mountains seem to have been blanketed under carpets of greens and it is one of the most photographed sights in Shimla.

Kufri Fun Coumps (Entry Ticket Complementary):-The famous tourist destination of Kufri will now have an added attraction with the opening of an amusement park having facilities for adventure sports (30 activities, including karting, adventure sports, indoor games, sky sw***er (32 metres height), haunted house, 5-D theatre, frish bee ride, bungy ejection for adults, bungy trampoline, swing it ride, wave train for kids, mini skater, kangaroo jump, moon walker and striking car, etc). It will be opened on ‘World Tourism Day’ on 27th September.

Himalayan Nature Park:-The Himalayan Nature Park in Kufri, one of the popular locations around Shimla, is located at a distance of 16 km. The site renowned for its ski slopes is a natural habitat of rich flora and fauna with about 140 species. Along with the park, the state government has set up a Potato Research Centre. Spread over an area of 90 hectares, the Himalayan Nature Park was set up in 1992. Visitors can also see Snow Leopard, Yak, Ghoral, Samber, Himalayan Thar and Black Bear in the zoo. Along with the zoo and nature park, tourists can also engage in horse riding.

The Mall:- One can’t miss the mall in shimla, it is not only a shopping centre but also a well maintained level of about 500m where people spend their leisure hours walking to & fro.

Today morning checkout from the hotel and drive To Manali. on the way Kullu sightseen , Local Market, Pashmina & local Kullu Shawl factory and than praceed on the way Hanogi Mata Temple and stop for a while at Pandoh Dam built on river beas. 1. Hadimba Devi Temple.– Manali has many attractions but the chief central of interest, historically and archaeologically, is undoubtedly the dungri temple dedicated to the goddess Hadimba , the Wife of Bheema of Mahabharata Fame, This is wooden temple, In the dense forest of magnificent deodar, is about 2.5 Kms from the Mall. It is a pleasant stroll to the temple which was built in 1553 A.D.

2. Vashisht(3.5 kms from Mall) Hot Sulphur Water springs – Renowned for its hot water and temples. The springs of Vashisht are believed to possess medicinal properties. The waters of the hot brooks are believed to heal skin diseases. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to vashisht Muni & lord Rama temple is also there.

3.Tibetan-Monastery (0.5 Kms) – This Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa dominates the Tibetan area around the bottom of the Mall in Manali. The Tibetan refugees built the Gompa in the late 1969. The main attraction of the monastery is the handicrafts of Tibetan artistry and the carpets that are woven and sold in the monastery.

4.Club House (2 Kms from Mall) – Located on the left bank of Manalsu Nallah . . Club house is famous for a amusement activities like skating, Disco Theque etc. Club house is surrounded by various picnic spots. Later in the evening free to explore the Shopping Malls (Mall Road & IBEX Market) of Manali.Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05:- Rohtang Pass Up To Snow Line (52 Kms) (WILL BE OPENED 15th MAY & TILL TO 15th NOV)Solang Valley Sightseen

Rohtang Pass 51 kms (Altitude 3979 m) Full Day Sightseeing – is the highest point, situated on the highway to Keylong/Leh & considered as the gateway to Lahaul Spiti . The Tour covers some of the most attractive spots, panorama activities and spectacular sight of glaciers. On the way to rohtang pass cover Nehru kund, Palchang, Kothi, Gulaba, Rahla Water Falls, Marhi, Rani Nala .

Nehru kund: 5 kms. On National Highway to Leh,a natural spring of cold clear water named after Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, who used to drink water from this spring during his stay in Manali. This spring is believed to originate from the Bhrigu lake situated high-up in the mountains.

Kothi: It is a pretty little village, 12 km from Manali on the Keylong road. There are very fine views from Kothi, and the Beas river flows through a very deep and narrow gorge at this point.

Gulaba Camp: 20 km from Manali, is this beautiful place famous for sightseeing, picnic and photography.

Rahala water falls: 30 kms. on way to Rohtang pass. If one goes to Marhi on foot from Kothi from the old road, the sight of the falls is fascinating. It is a good picnic spot as well.

Marhi: 35 kms. On way to Rohtang pass, picturesque point on the way to the Rohtang passes.

Rani Nala: 46 km from Manali. It is the glacier point where snow is available throughout the year.

Afternoon at 4 – 5 pm return to Manali.

Please Note: Since the National Green Tribunal is allowing only limited vehicle to Rohtang pass per day. Rohtang pass will on subject to availability of permit from the SDM Office Manali on the spot with additional cost.

SOLANG VALLY (ADVENTURE SPORT)

This year, Diwali falls on Monday, October 24. The celebrations for this auspicious Hindu festival last for five days. Read on to know all the details.The most significant and holy festival of Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is almost here. Hindus celebrate this auspicious festival to observe the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair. Diwali also marks the death of many demons like Narkasur by Lord Krishna, the arrival of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after killing Ravana, and Lord Vamana defeating Bali. People pray to Goddess Lakshmi on Diwali by performing the auspicious Lakshmi Puja at their homes and offices and ask the goddess to bless them with prosperity, happiness, peace and wealth. In most places in the country, Diwali is celebrated for five days. The festive period begins with Dhanteras and ends on Bhaiya Dooj. However, according to Drik Panchang, in Maharashtra, Diwali begins one day earlier on Govatsa Dwadashi.

Govatsa Dwadashi (October 21)

In Maharashtra, Diwali celebrations begin with Govatsa Dwadashi and are marked a day before Dhanteras. This year, it falls on Friday, October 21. On this day, Hindus worship cows and calves and offer them wheat products. The day is also known as Nandini Vrat.
Dhanteras (October 22)

Dhanteras Puja will be marked on Saturday, October 22. Also known as Dhantrayodashi, Dhanteras marks the beginning of Diwali festivities. Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kubera, who is the God of wealth, are worshipped on this auspicious day.

Kali Chaudas (October 23)

Day 01 : Delhi – Shimla (350 Kms 8/9 Hrs)
As soon as you arrive at Delhi, you are transferred by our representative to Shimla. It takes about 8 hours to reach the destination, which is around 361 kilometers from the capital city. The capital city of Himachal Pradesh and once a summer retreat for the British Government, Shimla is a well-known destination for honeymooners. Nestled in the Shivalik Ranges, it is a stunning honeymoon destination with views of the snowcapped Himalayan ranges and far stretching valleys. On reaching this destination, check-in at the hotel with your beloved and rest for the night.

Day 02 : Shimla - Kufri – Shimla
As you finish your breakfast, go ahead with a tour to Shimla exploring the eminent tourist spots. The popular ones to touch upon are Mall Road, Jakhoo Hill, Chadwick Falls, Himachal State Museum, Summer Hill and Prospect Hill. In the afternoon, you can make your way to Kufri Valley for an exciting excursion. Return to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 03 : Shimla – Manali (250 Kms 7/ 8 Hrs)
After your breakfast, proceed to Manali and visit Kullu Valley on your way. Take a glimpse at the verdant fields and the orchards of apple, cherry and plum. Kullu Valley is often considered as the abode of God and is replete with pictorial locales. The town is also well known for the Dusshera Festival. After exploring Kullu move on to Manali and check into a resort on arrival for an overnight stay.

Day 04 : Manali - Rohtang Pass – Manali

This morning, after your breakfast, go for a short sightseeing tour around Manali. Begin with a visit to the Solang Valley known to offer spectacular views of glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here, you can enjoy activities like Paragliding. After your visit to the Solang Valley, head towards Rohtang Pass which is 51 km from Manali, located at an altitude of 3978 meters. You really can't afford to miss an opportunity which takes you to one of the highest jeepable roads in the world. Return to the hotel after this tiring tour and have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 01: Chandigarh To Shimla
On arrival at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station, you will be met, assisted and drive to Shimla. Shimla was the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains. which offer some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. On arrival at Shimla check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Shimla. (8 hrs Journey)

Day 02 : Shimla - Kufri - Shimla
This day after breakfast proceed for in and around sightseeing of SHIMLA, visit KUFRI, India's one of the best holiday paradises Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meters. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo-gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Shimla - Manali
After breakfast leave for Manali, on the way sightseeing like Sundernagar lake, Pandoh dam, Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu Valley and overnight stay in Manali.

Day 04: Manali - Rohtang Pass (Up To Snow Line)
After breakfast proceeds for Rohtang pass, Situated at an altitude of 3979 meters above sea level and 51 km outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at their height and splendour. At the top of the pass, the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herringboned ridges into the Lahaul valley. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 05: Manali Local
After breakfast local sightseeing of Manali “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four-tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. “CLUB HOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and a restaurant makes a wonderful outing for the day.” Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” are Well known for their hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.

Day 06 : Manali - Dharamsala
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala. Mcleodganj is a famous little town of Dharamshala also known as "Little Tibet". The Dalai Lama resides here. At the start of Mcleodganj is a small bazaar filled with variety of Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. At the end of the spur lies the Namgyal Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 07 : Dharamsala - Dalhousie
After breakfast leave for Dalhousie. On the way view of the snow-covered dhauladhar range and amazing view of hills. Overnight stay in hotel at Dalhousie.

Day 08 : Dalhousie - Khajjiar – Dalhousie
Today, we proceed to Khajjiar. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary. The Monal Pheasant, a bird which was fairly common till recent times has become relatively difficult to spot nowadays but this species can be spotted here. Check-in at the hotel in Dalhousie for an overnight stay.

Day 09: Dalhousie - Chandigarh
After breakfast drive towards Chandigarh. Approx. 10 hrs. Journey. Check in to hotel & overnight stay.

Day 10: Chandigarh Local Sightseeing & Dropping
After breakfast leave for local sightseeing such as rose garden, rock garden & sukhna lake. In the afternoon leave for Chandigarh drop at Railway station/Airport to catch onwards train/flight & back to home with sweet memories.
