Experience the 45 min Morning Ganga Aarti in 45 seconds 😇

Ganga Aarti is performed in Varanasi mainly at Dashashwamedh Ghat which is performed at Sunset and at Assi Ghat which is performed at early Sunrise.

The Ganga Aarti is devotional offering to Goddess Ganga and God Sun. The Aarti includes fires, flowers, incense, music and songs sung in praise of the God.

The ceremony is performed by worshiping each of the 4 directions i.e. East West North South.

Ganga Aarti organised by Subah-e-Banaras at Assi Ghat is a calmer one as compared to the one performed during sunset at Dashashwamedh Ghat since the crowd is quite less may be because this is performed very early in the morning.

Subah-e-Banaras is an unique startup started by the State Government to promote cultural activities, rituals and spirituality.

Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple or the Leaning Temple of Varanasi is located on the Manikarnika Ghat. This temple has a 9° tilt towards North West direction. The exact tilt can be seen from the River while on a a boat ride.
