MANE VILLAGE
The village mane situated left side of spiti river, 6 KM away from national
Highway in district lahoul & spiti of H.P state.This village is 25 KM's away from famous TABO
Monastery.
Build 996 A.D, which has also been called AJANTA OF HIMALAYAH
Mane is mainly agriculture based village.
Maincash crop of village is green peas and potato. A special type of barley named *sermo* has been found here and after grinding the barley it takes form of *sattu*(grinded barley),and *changh*(undistilled and original form of barley wine) that is famous in all Himalayan region.
MAIN FEATURES of mane village:
1). Firstly after arrival here everyone will feel that, this is spiti's most flourished village and this village has a wide and extensive range of vegetation and flora and fauna.
2). Second feature of this village is *YANG CHO LAKE* This lake form by accumulation of manirang pass glacier's water.
3). Third feature is *manirang pass*,One of the highest peak in Asia. Many visitors, adventure lovers come here every year for trekking and climbing.
Thy make it a memorable moment by trekking through *mane to manirang pass to ropa valley kinnour.
4). Forth feature of this village is *chudolsa cave* a phenomenal and untouch cave, becomes in the whole year from this cave 7 months flows water and rest of 5 months it remains day . in these 5 months we can enter in this cave.(November mid to April mid) how long this cave that is unpredictable yet now. Once a time the boys of village have endeavored to enter in this cave but after entering 40-50 meter inward found deep water pond that we could not cross it. After seeing crossover of pond through flashlight found that, there is a long passage or way but how far?
Nobody knows, how far or how many K.M long passage or has it any other end or brink?
5). Fifth feature is *crystal cave*crystal means color in white stone and it use in Ayurveda.
Two sorts of crystal caves has been located in high attitude and these two caves indicates that it represents one cave as masculine cave and second cave as feminine cave.
6).sixth feature of this village is *Mane Dogri* this is 4 KM away from mane yongma.
in summer all villager's domestic animals shift here for three months(June mid to September mid)

FOOD:
Food is a serious affair here. Breakfast can be Tibatan bread with Jam, butter n honey. Parantha with milk tea is everyone’s favorite. You may ask for Tandoori Parantha also with hot tea. Daal, Roti, Rice and mix veg. is a staple food. Italian, Chinese, Tibatan, Israeli, Continental food and milk shakes can be ordered separately in cafe. Best of tea like, Ginger lemon honey tea, Green tea or Masala tea is available any time.
